Plot Synopsis

TRAILBLAZERS is a one-hour reality series that follows three elite survivalists as they each lead separate teams of scientists through some of the most dangerous regions of the world in the search for clues and discoveries that could lead to scientific breakthroughs. From the largely unexplored island of Papua New Guinea, to the Jurassic Park-like jungles of Bolivia and the volcanic landscapes of Ecuador. The survivalists are: Gary Humphrey, who has 17 years of experience serving in the Royal Marines and the UK Special Forces; Nick Koumalatsos, who served in the Marine Corps Special Ops for 12 years where he served time in some of the remote and hostile jungles in Asia; Shaun Keilen, who returned home after serving three SEAL platoons in the Middle East and now works as a private contractor for the US government overseas in Afghanistan; and Chris Gillette, a professional animal handler and wildlife enthusiast, who leads the hunt for a Caiman after Nick's accident forces him to tap out of Bolivia. Originally scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, March 30, TRAILBLAZERS debuted one month later on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT.
