Plot Synopsis

TOBACCO WARS is a one-hour reality series that follows a group of fourth- and fifth-generation Adairville, KY farmers, who bet everything they have on farming dark-fired tobacco, which is one of the nation's oldest and richest cash crops, and notoriously precarious. In tobacco country, carefully guarded farming know-how and family traditions are passed down through multiple generations in this high-stress world, but these folks also know how to blow off steam with endless wagering and outrageous country-boy hijinks. The series opens with planting season underway. At the Law farm, Mark Law battles with his two best workers -- his daughters -- who just can't seem to make it to work on time, and the Gainous farm welcomes home college student Zeke.
