Plot Synopsis
The tagline -- "You're playing poker. They're playing you." -- says it all. This nine-episode drama series is a fictional account of the seedy and duplicitous side of the poker world, focusing on high-stakes players at the Colorado Casino in Las Vegas. Don 'The Matador' Everest is a veteran gambler who cheats to win. He colludes with a team of his own people who use subtle signals to communicate their hole cards. Eddie Towne, Clark Marcellin and Miami get together to bring down 'The Matador' at the casino's annual World Poker Championships, but their plan may go awry when Eddie joins Everest's team. Lee Nickel, an out-of-town sheriff, is searching for the person who killed his brother...and all roads lead to 'The Matador.' "Tilt" was created and produced by Brian Koppelman and David Levien -- the same people who wrote the poker-themed theatrical film "Rounders," starring Matt Damon and Edward Norton.
