Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by Tiffany Haddish, Wanda Sykes and Page Hurwitz, TIFFANY HADDISH PRESENTS: THEY READY is a series of half-hour comedy specials, featuring talent personally chose by Haddish. She shares a history with each after working together on the stand up scene or in television. In an industry that too often excludes women, people of color, and LGBTQ performers, this diverse group of comedians, both in style and background, are ready for their time in the spotlight. Comedians include:

Chaunte Wayans: Last name aside, Chaunte holds her own with punchlines inspired by her personal stories about dating women, working at Postmates and going to jail.

April Macie: April Macie turns her rough upbringing into explicit gags that span dysfunctional family drama to a history lesson on the first vibrator.

Tracey Ashley: Combining sass with class, Tracey Ashley tackles food fantasies, inappropriate relatives and interracial marriages.

Aida Rodriguez: From wild childhood anecdotes to the #MeToo movement, the fiery comic shares sharp commentary on social ills and hilarious lessons from the hood.

Flame Monroe: Fierce, funny and fabulous, the fiery drag queen lights up the stage with quips about TSA pat-downs, political "gangstas" and parenthood.

Marlo Williams: Hailing straight from Compton, Marlo Williams doesn't spare any details while serving up big laughs about armpit hair, "ghetto" sex and the stink test.

Season 2 of TIFFANY HADDISH PRESENTS: THEY READY debuted on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT on Netflix, featuring six new comedians and a half-hour after-show special:

Godfrey: Impersonations illuminate Godfrey's set as he pumps out quips on his Nigerian identity, Instagram models, petty behavior and political figures.

Erin Jackson: Erin packs the punchlines in her perspectives on casual hugging, firm massages, accomplishments during quarantine and attempting to skydive.

Tony Woods: Tony mixes it up with funny and intellectual takes on being the only "Virgo," his worldly travels and the origins of the kangaroo.

Kimberly Clark: From retail stores and groupies to her orchestra crush and butterflies, Kimberly flutters through her set filled with giddiness and realness.

Barbara Carlyle: Georgia's own Barbara Carlyle laces her set with slick talk and dirty jokes on bald eagles, fake orgasms, pickle jars and men in the military.

Dean Edwards: On-screen representation and racism fuel the gags for Dean before he piles on the impressions for an imaginary, star-studded Zoom call.

The After Show: The Season 2 comics bond over stigmas, sacrifices and stand-up in this emotional and vulnerable roundtable chat hosted by Tiffany Haddish.
