Plot Synopsis

Tia Mowry Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley, twin sisters who became overnight teen sensations for their hit comedy series SISTER, SISTER, balance their acting/producing careers with their new personal lives. In Season 1, Tia became a first-time mother, and the series featured her baby shower and her newborn's arrival. Tamera then made the transition from fiance to wife, with the program highlighting her bridal shower, bachelorette party and wedding. In Season 2, as they faced the realities of motherhood and matrimony, Tia and Tamera leaned heavily on each other to lighten the difficult moments with comedic insight and advice and to share their worries and fears. After nine months of sickness, pre-natal classes and then the birth, Tia was figuring out how to actually be a mother to her son, Cree; meanwhile, Tamera spent months preparing for her dream wedding, and as she approached her one-year anniversary, she wondered about her new role as a working wife. In Season 3, which premiered on Style Network on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 8pm ET/PT, Tia and Tamera searched to redefine their roles as women who also are wives, mothers and sisters. For Tia, she embraced her fun, sexy side, and because Cree was a little older, she prepared for a new TV-series role that allowed her to showcase her comedic chops once again. Tamera began to stand up more to her sister by expressing her opinions -- even if they're the opposite of Tia's -- and looked to turn her ability to gab into a full-time gig as a daytime talk-show host on THE REAL, which started its limited syndicated run on seven Fox affiliates the day after the Season 3 premiere of this series. One year before TIA & TAMERA premiered, Style Network aired a 30-minute special, TIA & TAMERA TAKE 2, on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 10:30pm ET. Three months later on Tuesday, October 14, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT, Season 3 of TIA & TAMERA began airing on E! after Style Network was rebranded as Esquire Network.
