Plot Synopsis

Released for the first time in the United States on February 18, 2021 on Netflix, THUS SPOKE KISHIBE ROHAN is a collection of four animated stories that were previously released in Japan as Original Video Animations (OVAs) from 2017 through 2019. In these stories, based on the manga of the same name, a popular manga creator becomes enmeshed in paranormal events while conducting research: Stand User Kishibe Rohan visits Italy, goes bankrupt and more. The four 25-minute episodes include:

"At a Confessional": Rohan retells the story of a time he accidentally overheard a bone-chilling confession at a church in Venice.

"Mutsu-kabe Hill": Bankrupt, Rohan pleads with his editor for an advance on his pay, swearing that the land he bought as research for his manga wasn't a wasted investment.

"Millionaire Village": Rohan accompanies his editor to a mountain village full of luxurious villas after she receives an improbable invitation to buy a home there.

"The Run": Sustaining serious injuries to his hand, Rohan blames himself for undertaking a foolish competition with a model in a hotel gym.
