Plot Synopsis

THIRST WITH SHAY MITCHELL is a one-hour docuseries that follows Shay Mitchell, as she explores the world one drink at a time by visiting exotic locations, sampling unique ingredients, and meeting expert hosts. On her journey, she encounters the latest drink trends, the best bars, and 8,000 years of sipping history. In the series opener, Shay heads to Peru, where she explores favorite Incan libations and visits a mountain distillery 9,000 feet above sea level. Along the way, she downs a ceviche cocktail and encounters a snag while hiking Machu Picchu in search of a spiritual life hack. Additional destinations include Colombia, Argentina and Brazil. THIRST WITH SHAY MITCHELL debuted on Thursday, May 23, 2024 on Max, which released the first episode. A new installment dropped weekly on Thursdays through June 13.

On Thursday, June 13, 2024, Max released "Brazil," the finale of THIRST WITH SHAY MITCHELL. Shay Mitchell heads to the island of Florianopolis, where a night of caipirinhas, cachaca shots and a rigorous pint tasting leads to an unexpected proposal. Then, Shay is put to work chopping sugarcane at Brazil's only organic cachaca distillery.
