Plot Synopsis

Hosted by actor and comedian Jeff Dye, THAT AWKWARD GAME SHOW is a one-hour game show during which parents and their adult children compete to win a large cash prize while learning some of the most ridiculously shocking truths about their next of kin. Each 60-minute episode features three teams of two (comprised of one parent and one adult child per team) trying to figure out which embarrassing factoid is related to their teammate (and family member!). In order to advance throughout the game, contestants must identify uncomfortable, often outrageous, previously unknown truths about their loved ones. The parent/kid duo who answers the most questions correctly wins a large cash prize. Spike TV premiered a sneak-peek episode of THAT AWKWARD GAME SHOW on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 11pm ET/PT, one day before its official series premiere on Wednesday, October 12 at 10pm.

On Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 9:30pm ET/PT, Spike premiered "A Very Awkward Holiday." In this half-hour holiday special of THAT AWKWARD GAME SHOW, nothing says Happy Holidays like sharing embarrassing family secrets in order to win some money!
