Plot Synopsis

In the midst of a recent pandemic and calls for social distancing -- as well as social justice -- a single mother sets her sights on starting a new life with her defiant teenager and relocates from Baltimore to live in Freeman Lake Apartments on Terror Lake Drive in Atlanta. But she quickly discovers she can't outrun her past and a love gone wrong. UMC released the first episode of TERROR LAKE DRIVE on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. TERROR LAKE DRIVE made its linear television debut on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT on WE tv.

Season 2 premiered on Thursday, June 23, 2022, as AllBlk released the season opener. The new season, titled TERROR LAKE DRIVE: SINGLE BLACK FEMALE, occurs two years after the melee that imploded upon Freeman Lake Apartments. Much to her new friends' and colleagues' dismay, traveling nurse Deja announces she is taking on a new assignment at Atlanta University Hospital. Seeking housing while on assignment, Deja checks out a community post/safe travel guide for traveling nurses, where she meets Shana. Oblivious of its checkered past, Deja winds up in an apartment facing the mystifying lake at the residence (now) formerly known as Freeman Lake Apartments. A new episode dropped each Thursday through August 4.

Season 3, titled TERROR LAKE DRIVE: SUMMER PURGE, debuted on Thursday, November 16, 2023 on AllBlk. A new installment dropped weekly through December 28. The new season opens with the demolished Freeman Lakes transformed into a sprawling, glamorous lakefront summer resort, aptly named, Lake Levi. A highly touted exclusive destination for Atlanta's elite and privileged. When Janice DuVernay, an in debt science teacher discovers she is the sole beneficiary to her grandfather's million-dollar estate on Lake Levi, her family can barely contain their excitement at the prospect of attaining a better life. As the DuVernays embark on their summer getaway, a series of bizarre events begin to unfold making it apparent not all fairytales have a happy ending.

On Thursday, December 28, 2023, AllBlk released "Last Will Be First," the season finale of TERROR LAKE DRIVE: SUMMER PURGE (Season 3). In the season ender, Janice and her children discover their purpose.
