Plot Synopsis

How would you like to get an estimate for a home improvement project and then have someone show you how to save some cash and put $10,000 in your hand? That's exactly what host John DeSilvia does every week. In each episode John will take a real homeowner through a renovation and remodeling project from beginning to end and highlight areas where to save some serious dough. Sometimes he advises on how to use new materials or re-use existing materials. Other times he'll show homeowners how to do the work themselves. He'll even take them on bargain-hunting trips for appliances and supplies. Doesn't matter what the project is -- a new kitchen for a home bakery, a new garage for a '74 Corvette and Harley or an updated bathroom -- John will make sure that there's at least $10k left over.
