Plot Synopsis
High-school student Scott McCall encountered a creature in the woods, narrowly escaped the attack with a vicious bite on his side, and now he struggles with his identity as a werewolf while dealing with high school, friends, and family. Scott was an outsider who often went unnoticed, but this regular high-school student's life changed forever on the night his best friend, Stiles, convinced him to go into the woods and join a police search for a dead body. That night, Scott was bitten and now he must understand who he is and what he might become. He tries to walk the line between what he wants and what he can't help from wanting, and he must decide whether he should embrace his newfound powers or fear them. Plus, he must figure out what his new life means for his relationship with Allison.
Season 2 begins when a new member of the Argent family arrives in Beacon Hills and Scott and Allison are forced to continue their blossoming romance in secret. At the same time, Derek Hale, obsessed with gaining strength as a new Alpha, begins recruiting for his pack, including newly-bitten Jackson. While Derek's final goal includes bringing Scott into his fold, the Argents have begun molding Allison into a skilled werewolf hunter.
Season 3, which premiered with the first of 24 new episodes on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT, picked up four months after the events that nearly ended Jackson's life and resurrected Peter Hale's. Plus, teen werewolf Scott McCall and his friends Stiles, Lydia and Allison began their Junior year of high school unaware that a new threat has arrived in Beacon Hills: a deadly pack of Alpha werewolves intent on bringing Derek into their fold.
MTV premiered the fourth season of TEEN WOLF on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT. The season opened with Scott, Stiles, Lydia and Kira still healing from tragic losses and returning to a new semester of school with more human worries than supernatural, while also trying to help their new friend, Malia, integrate back into society. But Kate Argent's surprising resurrection brings a new threat to Beacon Hills along with the emergence of another mysterious enemy known simply as The Benefactor.
TEEN WOLF returned for its fifth season with a special two-part premiere on Monday, June 29 at 10pm ET/PT and Tuesday, June 30 at 9pm ET/PT. Plus, MTV aired an all-day marathon (9am-10pm) of encore episodes of Season 4 on Monday, June 29. On the eve of Senior Year, Scott and his friends find themselves facing the possibility of a future without each other, a next phase of their lives that might take them in different directions despite their best intentions. Little do they know that outside forces are already plotting to break the pack apart long before they ever see graduation. New villains that use a combination of science and the supernatural for a malevolent and mysterious purpose that will eventually pit Scott and his friends against their greatest enemy yet. After a four-month break, TEEN WOLF returned for the second part of its fifth season on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT on MTV, immediately following an all-day marathon (8am-9pm) of encore episodes. Reeling from crushing losses, Scott struggles to put his pack back together while the Dread Doctors' final creation, a creature known as The Beast, terrorizes Beacon Hills. In the mid-season premiere, "The Last Chimera," Scott and Stiles try to learn what is behind the mysterious infection that is killing the town sheriff.
The 20-episode sixth and final season of TEEN WOLF premiered on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT on MTV, immediately following a 10-hour marathon (11am-9pm) of encore episodes. Storm clouds gather as Scott and the pack head into their final months of high school. But the best days of their lives turn bleak when they lose their closest ally. Before the end, Scott and Lydia will stand alone against the growing darkness and fight to stop the destruction of everything and everyone they love. In the season opener, "Memory Lost," graduation is approaching, and a supernatural force rides into Beacon Hills, crossing paths with Scott and his friends, while Liam discovers evidence of a new enemy in the high school. The series' final 10 episodes premiered on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at 8pm ET/PT on MTV, immediately following a new half-hour special (7:30pm), "Teen Wolf Top Ten Moments." The final 10 episodes of TEEN WOLF find Scott and his pack on the eve of their departure for college, as they discover a new enemy rising in the shadows, which threatens the fate of everything they hold dear. In the mid-season premiere, "Said the Spider to the Fly," Scott readies Beacon Hills for his imminent departure, while a mysterious presence breaks out of Eichen House.
On Thursday, May 21, 2020 MTV announced that its new digital format, MTV REUNIONS, launches with the cast and creator of the iconic series TEEN WOLF on Friday, June 5 at Noon ET/PT for its 9th anniversary. Hosted by MTV News' Josh Horowitz, the virtual reunion will air on the MTV YouTube channel with amplification across MTV News, MTV brand, MTV Vault and TEEN WOLF social accounts. The special event will benefit the First Responders First charity. MTV is bringing back series creator Jeff Davis and cast members Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, Ian Bohen, Charlie Carver, Max Carver, Arden Cho, Cody Christian, Shelly Henning, Dylan O'Brien, Melissa Ponzio, Tyler Posey, Holland Roden and Dylan Sprayberry for the virtual reunion. From the safety of their homes, fans will have a front-row seat to their favorite TEEN WOLF characters as they reflect back on the series' most memorable moments and filming experiences, and share how they're coping during these uncertain times. The TEEN WOLF virtual reunion marks the first to launch from the brand's new digital format, MTV REUNIONS, which will reunite cast members from television's most memorable shows, all with the purpose of raising money for charitable causes.
