Plot Synopsis

Mark Manguera, co-founder of KOGI BBQ, drives the King's Hawaiian Food Truck across America in TASTE OF HAWAII, stopping in different cities along the way where he experiences local sites and eats classic dishes specific to those areas. Mark then uses the King's Hawaiian Food Truck to recreate each hometown dish with a touch of the laid-back vibe of Hawaii, incorporating King's Hawaiian in each recipe. On Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 9:30pm ET/6:30pm PT, Cooking Channel premiered TASTE OF HAWAII, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, Mark starts out in Los Angeles and drives toward the east coast, stopping in Austin, Charleston, and New York City.
