Plot Synopsis

In each episode, a team of two players is given one hour to hide a briefcase containing $100,000, and they win the money if two professional detectives can't locate the briefcase during the next 48 hours. After their one-hour time limit expires, the two contestants are taken into custody by local police detectives and taken back to the station where Detective Paul Bishop and Deputy District Attorney/best-selling author Mary Hanlon Stone use interrogations, cell phone records, receipts, GPS coordinates from the contestants' vehicle, and extensive field work to locate the cash. If the detectives can find the briefcase in 48 hours, they win the $100,000 prize and the contestants go home empty-handed.
