Plot Synopsis

SYDNEY ER is a reality series that follows the doctors, nurses and specialist consultants in the Emergency Department at St. Vincent's Hospital near Sydney, Australia. This medical team pulls together to perform lifesaving surgery, while also treating multiple stab wounds, gunshot injuries, alcohol-fueled head traumas, drug overdoses, car crash casualties and everything in between. After airing as KINGS CROSS ER in Australia, Discovery Fit & Health aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 10pm ET with back-to-back episodes featuring three patients arriving with stranger-than-usual medical complaints and a code red trauma.

Discovery Fit & Health aired the U.S. premiere of Season 2 on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT, showing back-to-back episodes. In the night's first episode, a 19-year-old hip-hip star was stabbed in the heart outside of a night club, and the ER staff was forced to perform open-heart surgery in the emergency department.
