Plot Synopsis

SUSPICION reveals the terrifying journeys of real people who suspected imminent danger and became fixated on finding the truth about stalkers, criminal cover-ups, killers on the loose, and more. First-person interviews detail the twists and turns that come with following a dangerous hunch, leaving viewers guessing the identity of the culprit until the very end. Each one-hour episode features a different story, including: dedicated nurse Amy Loughren, who seems to be the only one interested in investigating the deadly pattern of patients in her care dying under mysterious circumstances; Toni Ingram, whose peaceful neighborhood is shaken with fear after a series of local robberies and whose daughter, Morgan, becomes the next target; Monique Murdoch, whose lakeside idyll is shattered when an intruder breaks into the family home and steals her daughter's underwear; newly divorced Anita Friend, who move next to her friend, but whose other neighbors' threatening behaviors and a chain of unexplainable burglaries are part of a conspiracy so terrifying that she and her boyfriend Ray may never get out alive; and Sheila Wysocki, who risks her own life in pursuit of the killer -- and justice -- after her best friend, Angie Samota, is found brutally raped and murdered in her condo. Season 2 of SUSPICION premiered on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on Investigation Discovery. In the season opener, "The Boogeyman," when Joe Gere hears of a serial killer on the loose, he immediately packs up his family and moves. But even in their new home, Joe is vigilant, and teaches his kids to shoot and defend themselves. But it's not long before he gets the call he's dreaded.

On Friday, November 18, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT, Investigation Discovery premiered the Season 2 finale of SUSPICION. In the season ender, "Murder in Montana," the small farming community of Poplar Montana are stunned at the discovery of the bludgeoned body of 17-year-old Kim Nees. But nothing will prepare them for the surprise confession that sends eternal shockwaves through the town.
