Plot Synopsis

This reboot of THE SURREAL LIFE from the mid-2000s features eight celebrities who live together for a once in a lifetime surreal experience that puts their temperaments and vulnerabilities to the test, pushing these stars to unmask themselves in the most unfiltered and unpredictable ways. This new version of the series premiered with a special two-hour debut on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 9-11pm ET/PT on VH1, as the cast moves into a house together and attempts to get acclimated to their curious surroundings, while bonding at a family BBQ. The Season 1 cast includes:

- August Alsina, contemporary R&B singer, songwriter

- CJ Perry, actress, model, and former WWE superstar

- Dennis Rodman, one of the greatest professional athletes of all time

- Frankie Muniz, actor best known for playing the title character in Malcolm In The Middle

- Kim Coles, actress, comedienne, host, and author famous for her role on the 90s comedy series Living Single

- Manny MUA, a makeup artist, entrepreneur and pioneer blurring the lines of gender in cosmetics

- Stormy Daniels, award-winning actress, screenwriter, author and director in the adult entertainment industry

- Tamar Braxton, Grammy Award-nominated singer & songwriter



Season 2, titled SURREAL LIFE: VILLA OF SECRETS, debuted with back-to-back new episodes on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 9-11pm ET/PT on MTV. This season, eight celebrity strangers have no idea what's in store when they check-in to the Villa of Secrets for an outlandish, Surreal getaway. Each day these all-star guests will be surprised with provocative missions that push their limits, uncover their pasts and lead them to divulge their deepest truths. Eight celebs, one villa... all will be revealed. The Season 2 cast includes:

On Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 9pm ET/PT, MTV premiered "All Is Revealed," the season finale of SURREAL LIFE: VILLA OF SECRETS. With the journey coming to an end, SLOAN sends the housemates on a mission to celebrate who they've become during this life-changing experience at their own Quinceanera. The villa receives their yearbooks and cast their votes for the most coveted titles.
