Plot Synopsis

Mike Fukanaga is a shy, awkward, average high school student who discovers he is descended from a long line of ninjas, and he teams up with his best friend Owen and his crush Amanda to enter a secret world of martial arts. Using the guidance, wisdom and training from an interactive hologram of Mike's recently deceased grandfather, these three teens fight crime and conceal their identities as "Supah Ninjas" while surviving the typical trials and tribulations of high school. Nickelodeon aired the SUPAH NINJAS pilot on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 9pm ET as a special preview of the series before it officially premiered in April 2011. At the end of the first season, SUPAH NINJAS revealed that Grandpa had an evil twin who is alive and leaving a rival gang of ninjas. After filming Season 1 in Los Angeles, Season 2 production moved to Pittsburgh, the hometown of series creator and showrunner Eric Garcia. Returning for its second season on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 8:30pm ET on Nickelodeon, the trio of friends learn that Cousin Connor is trying to get the Floating Sword after he tries to infiltrate the dojo. Plus, later in the season, Grandpa engages in a sword fight with his evil twin.
