Plot Synopsis

STRIP THE COSMOS uses CGI animation to peel back layers of major planets, moons, black holes, stars and galaxies, revealing the gases, minerals, rock, magma and gravitational force-fields -- layer by layer -- while exploring the destiny, origins and structure of the universe. Each one-hour episode of this series focuses on a different astronomical object, including: black holes, one of the most feared objects in the universe, which are documented by tearing off swirling galaxies of stars, planets, and cosmic dust; the Sun, which is explored by tearing off boiling seas of plasma, light particles, and force fields; and many more celestial bodies.
