Plot Synopsis
STREETS OF DREAMS WITH MARCUS LEMONIS is a five-episode docuseries that follows CEO and entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis, as he travels across the country, pulling back the curtain on the most renowned and influential streets that fuel America's most vital business cultures. From diamond dealing on Manhattan's 47th Street, to country music on Nashville's Music Row, to the marijuana industry on Denver's Green Mile, Lemonis shares the stories of those determined to make it in America. Filmed prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, STREETS OF DREAMS WITH MARCUS LEMONIS features unprecedented access to the men and women who ply their trades on these streets every single day -- the small business owners, innovators, old-school craftspeople, hustlers and industry power players. Lemonis reveals who's got what it takes to thrive in an ever-changing economic landscape.
"I love all aspects of business, but the most intriguing part to me is the people," said Lemonis. "Normally, I invest in business, but I've always said we need to 'bet on humanity,' and in this show I was able to peel back the layers of some of these iconic streets in business and understand how the people behind them have kept them running so successfully for generations. From Little Havana to Harbor Drive, there are some incredible stories and we get to show viewers the importance of how people can build dreams together."
STREETS OF DREAMS WITH MARCUS LEMONIS highlights these iconic streets:
- Diamond District in New York, NY (premieres Tuesday, December 29, 2020), the 24-billion-dollar block on 47th Street in New York City between 5th and 6th Avenues.
- 17th Avenue South, Music Row in Nashville, TN (Tuesday, January 5, 2021), an unassuming Nashville street that is at the heart of America's multi-billion-dollar country music industry.
- Calle Ocho in Miami, FL (Tuesday, January 12, 2021), Little Havana, the booming capital of Cuban-American culture in Miami. Plus, Pitbull and Emilio Estefan talk about how Calle Ocho shaped their success.
- Harbor Drive in San Diego, CA (Tuesday, January 19, 2021), the heart of the city's emerging "blue economy" -- an under-the-radar economic sector worth 1.5 trillion dollars worldwide -- where Marcus is granted exclusive access to San Diego's restricted military and industrial waterfront along Harbor Drive. To discover if this ocean-based economy could transform San Diego from a sleeping giant into an economic powerhouse, Marcus takes a deep dive into the city's fishing heritage, gets an unprecedented look at how the Navy contributes billions to the local economy and explores Harbor Drive's booming blue tech industry.

On Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT, CNBC premiered "South Broadway, The Green Mile, Denver," the season finale of STREETS OF DREAMS WITH MARCUS LEMONIS. CEO and entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis pulls back the curtain on Denver's South Broadway, better known as the Green Mile, home of the original "Great Green Experiment" in legal marijuana. From a millionaire grower dubbed "the Steve Jobs of Weed" to NFL legend Terrell "TD" Davis, Marcus meets the entrepreneurs, innovators and pioneers who are pushing this multi-billion-dollar market forward and he explores whether Denver's marijuana model could be an economic blueprint for cities across America and if weed really is "green gold"?
