Plot Synopsis

Strawberry Shortcake and her friends live in Berry Bitty City, a tiny world underneath the leaves of a berry patch. There, she and her friends run little shops and go on fantasy adventures that emphasize friendship, teamwork, and fun. Her five BFFs are: Raspberry Torte, who is a caring friend and fashionista; Blueberry Muffin, her true-blue friend who loves to read; Lemon Meringue, who runs the Lemon Salon and buzzes with her friends; Orange Blossom, who runs the Orange Mart; and Plum Pudding, who teaches dance at her Sweet Beats Studio. The premiere of this series kicked off American Greetings 30th anniversary celebration of Strawberry Shortcake, which debuted in 1980 as a line of social expressions products and a television special. Season 4 premiered on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 12:30pm ET on Discovery Family Channel, with 13 episodes in the new season commemorating the brand's 35th anniversary by introducing three new characters: Sweet and Sour Grapes and Apple Dumpin'. In the season opener, "Berry Double Trouble," Lemon and Raspberry hire twins Sweet & Sour to help out in Strawberry's cafe, so Strawberry will have time to appear in an internet fashion contest they are entering.

On Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 1:30pm ET/PT, Discovery Family Channel premiered the Season 4 finale of STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE'S BERRY BITTY ADVENTURES. In the season ender, "Dance Puppy Dance," Cherry quickly gets fed up with everyone listening to her song -- everywhere, all the time -- when a simple tune she composed goes viral. She tries to get some peace so she can compose the song she's suppose to write for the Queen of Berryvania
