Plot Synopsis
STITCHERS is a one-hour procedural drama series that follows Kirsten, a young woman recruited into a covert government agency to be 'stitched' into the minds of the recently deceased, using their memories to investigate murders and decipher mysteries that otherwise would have gone to the grave. Working alongside Kirsten is Cameron, a brilliant neuroscientist whose passion for the program is evident in his work. The secret program is headed by Maggie, a skilled veteran of covert operations, and includes Linus, a socially immature bioelectrical engineer and communications technician. Kirsten's roommate, Camille, a gifted computer science grad student, is also recruited to use her skills to assist Kirsten in her new role as a stitcher. Season 2 of STITCHERS premiered on Tuesday, March 22 from 10-11pm ET/PT on Freeform. After Kirsten successfully brings Cameron back from the dead, she experiences an unexpected side effect: her temporal dysplasia is gone and she has real emotions for the first time since childhood. When a mystery involving Les Turner forces the lab to go on lockdown placing a cloud of suspicion around Maggie, the team must find out what really happened, and fast. Kirsten's latest stitch leads to a shocking discovery and an important memory involving her biological father. Meanwhile, Camille tries to cheer up an unhappy Fisher as he recovers from his wounds. On Monday, June 5, 2017 at 9pm ET/PT, Freeform premiered the third season of STITCHERS. Season 3 picks up immediately from the dramatic cliffhanger finale where Kirsten Clark's life lays in the balance as the Stitchers team works to bounce her back into the real world after she became trapped in a stitch in her attempt to find her mother. Fueled by his love for Kirsten, Cameron finds a way to bring her back to reality, but it could cost them their relationship. This season, Kirsten and the Stitchers team hack into the minds of the recently deceased to investigate diverse and unusual cases spanning from international relations to dark secrets within their own families. New relationships will develop while others will end, and the true purpose of the Stitchers program will finally be revealed.
