Plot Synopsis

Even though he's best known for his blockbuster movies (Above the Law; Hard to Kill; Under Siege; Exit Wounds), Steven Seagal has been working as a fully-commissioned deputy with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana for the past 20 years. He goes on patrol, is an expert marksman on their SWAT team, and instructs fellow officers in firearms and hand-to-hand combat. This half-hour reality series follows Seagal while he's on- and off-duty. While working, he and his hand-selected elite team of deputies respond to crimes-in-progress. Off-duty, Seagal pursues a few of his other passions, including music and philanthropy.

After its first season in 2009 and second season in 2010 were both broadcast by A&E, STEVEN SEAGAL: LAWMAN returned for a third season on a new cable channel, ReelzChannel, on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT. The new season, now titled: STEVEN SEAGAL: LAWMAN: THE LOST SEASON, was shot in Maricopa County, AZ in 2011, and was scheduled to air in January 2012, but A&E never showed the third season, allowing ReelzChannel to pick up the series and premiere it two years later. On the day of the Season 3 premiere, ReelzChannel aired a Season 2 marathon from 2-6pm, followed by two Seagal movies, MERCENARY FOR JUSTICE (6-8pm) and BELLY OF THE BEAST (8-10pm), and the one-hour season premiere of THE LOST SEASON (10-11pm).
