Plot Synopsis

STEEL CITY REHAB is a half-hour reality series that follows Pittsburgh-based husband-wife duo Kris and Tara Bennett, as they search for perfect family homes to remodel. In each 30-minute episode, real estate professional Kris and designer Tara flip a different property, with the help of two long-time friends: project manager Cameron Nicols and real estate agent Jesse Wig. On Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Noon ET/PT, HGTV premiered the pilot of STEEL CITY REHAB, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "Down to the Studs," the couple search for a home in the neighborhood of Friendship. However, the choice isn't easy as each home comes with a set of challenges, including an uneven floor structure and possible water damage.
