Plot Synopsis

Executive produced, written, and created by series star Rose Matafeo, STARSTRUCK is a half-hour comedy series that follows Jessie, a millennial living in East London juggling two dead end jobs and navigating the awkward morning-after-the-night-before when she discovers the complications of accidentally sleeping with famous movie star Tom. STARSTRUCK made its U.S. debut on HBO Max on Thursday, June 10, 2021, the same day that HBO Max renewed the series for a second season.

The sophomore season of STARSTRUCK made its U.S. debut on Thursday, March 24, 2022, as HBO Max released the entire six-episode new season. After her grand gesture at the end of Season 1, in Season 2, Jessie must deal with the real-world consequences of deciding to stay and pursue a relationship with Tom, rather than sticking to her original plan of returning home to New Zealand.

Season 3 made its U.S. debut on Thursday, September 28, 2023, as Max released all six episodes of the new season. Still living in London and working at the local cinema, Jessie explores a new single life after parting ways with film star Tom. Two years after the breakup, Jessie navigates the pressures of adulthood and is confronted with the consequences of her own choices as her friends move on to the next stages in their lives, while Jessie is left questioning what she is really looking for.
