Plot Synopsis

STAR TREK: PICARD features Sir Patrick Stewart reprising his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons on STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION. This new series follows this iconic character into the next chapter of his life. The story opens at the end of the 24th Century -- and 14 years after his retirement from Starfleet -- with Jean-Luc Picard living a quiet life on his vineyard, Chateau Picard. When he is sought out by a mysterious young woman, Dahj, in need of his help, he soon realizes she may have personal connections to his own past. Following the premiere on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, new episodes of STAR TREK: PICARD's 10-episode first season are available weekly on Thursdays, exclusively for CBS All Access subscribers in the United States.

The sophomore season of STAR TREK: PICARD premiered on Thursday, March 3, 2022, as Paramount+ released the first episode of the new season. The new season takes Jean-Luc Picard and his crew on a bold and exciting new journey: into the past. Picard must enlist friends both old and new to confront the perils of 21st century Earth in a desperate race against time to save the galaxy's future -- and face the ultimate trial from one of his greatest foes. In the season opener, "The Star Gazer," Starfleet must once again call on legendary Jean-Luc Picard after members of his former crew -- Cristobal Rios, Seven of Nine, Raffi Musiker, and Dr. Agnes Jurati -- discover an anomaly in space that threatens the galaxy. A new episode dropped each Thursday through May 5.

The 10-episode third and final season of STAR TREK: PICARD premieres on Thursday, February 16, 2023 on Paramount+, reuniting the entire cast of THE NEXT GENERATION: Gates McFadden (Dr. Beverly Crusher), LeVar Burton (Geordi La Forge), Michael Dorn (Worf), and Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi), who join returning stars Brent Spiner and Jonathan Frakes (William Riker). In addition, Amanda Plummer joins the cast in a recurring role as Vadic, the mysterious alien captain of the Shrike, a warship that has set its sights on Jean-Luc Picard and his old crewmates from his days on the Enterprise. Mica Burton and Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut also have recurring roles in Season 3. Ensign Sidney La Forge is played by Sharpe Chestnut and is the eldest daughter of Geordi La Forge and helmsman of the U.S.S. Titan. Ensign Alandra La Forge is played by Mica Burton, Geordi La Forge's youngest daughter who works alongside her father. This season, Brent Spiner's character is named Lore, and Daniel Davis portrays Professor Moriarty.
