Using expert interviews, re-creations, actual case files and insights from seasoned law enforcement officials, this one-hour docuseries takes an unnerving dive into the cases of stalkers whose unrelenting obsession with a celebrity led to jarring and sometimes tragic ends. Each 60-minute episode of STALKER FILES focuses on a different celebrity, telling each story with two seemingly separate timelines building to a climax of fear and violence. The series opener centered on Madonna. From the moment people laid eyes on Madonna -- with fishnet stockings, trademark headband and finger-less lace gloves -- she had the world under her spell. But she also attracted the attention of a very dangerous man. In 1995, Madonna's life would be put on the line when a man with a laundry list of mental health problems would come knocking on her door. With first-hand accounts from Steve Stevens, the man who nearly killed stalker Robert Hoskins on Madonna's property, to exclusive footage filmed by the psychotic stalker himself. Celebrities featured in subsequent episodes include Erin Andrews, David Letterman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Michael Douglas, Steven Spielberg, Jodie Foster, Christina Grimmie, Rebecca Schaeffer and Brooke Shields.
