Plot Synopsis

In this fish-out-of-water reality series, two hair stylists switch places for six days in each other's salons. Just like "Wife Swap" in which the two families are very different, in "Split Ends" the two salons are usually very different -- for example, one in Beverly Hills and the other in a small Midwestern town OR one that specializes in African-American hairstyles and the other with a predominately Caucasian clientele. The stylists not only have new surroundings and new clients, but they also have to learn to deal with a new staff.
