Plot Synopsis

SINS OF THE FATHER is a one-hour docuseries that tells the stories of deadly fathers -- as seen through the eyes of their children. Each 60-minute episode features a single story. In the season opener, "In Cold Blood," Elaine Rice makes a horrific discovery after visiting her sister's Maryland home, where she finds the bodies of her sister, her disabled nephew and the nephew's nurse. New Season 1 episodes debuted each day at 8pm ET/PT on Investigation Discovery from Monday, June 13 through Saturday, June 18, 2022.

Season 2 of SINS OF THE FATHER debuted on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 11pm ET/PT on Investigation Discovery, which premiered a new Season 2 episode nightly at 11pm through Friday, June 16. In the season opener, "River of Death," a teen marries a former military man, and they quickly expand their family; the ex-sniper possesses a violent side that emerges whenever he drinks; when his wife finally decides she's had enough, the real trouble begins.
