Plot Synopsis

SHINESTY is a half-hour reality series that follows two former college buddies -- Chris White and Jens Nicolaysen -- as they run a party clothing brand, shinesty.com, that specializes in attention-grabbing apparel. Based in Boulder, CO, these millenial entrepreneurs did $5 million in sales last year. According to Chris, the company's CEO, Shinesty is "a brand that's changing the way people think about events, the way people think about costumes and really making people laugh." The series opens with Chris and Jens unveiling their company's latest marketing ploy: The Shinebago mobile store. Then, the crew descends on a Denver mall and tries to steal customers before security kicks them out. Then, in the second episode, Shinesty launches a new line of "banana hammocks," and all the guys have to model them in public for a photo shoot. Sally the photographer struggles to corral six dudes in nut-huggers and a dozen unruly wiener dogs.
