Plot Synopsis

"The Shift" follows the work and lives of a highly effective team of elite homicide detectives, focusing on the efforts and techniques of the "middle shift" of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD). These investigators officially work from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM -- primetime hours for homicide -- but they work tirelessly to solve their cases whenever they happen. To them, when someone is murdered in their city, it's personal.
