Plot Synopsis

Part of U.S. Soccer's SheBelieves initiative to inspire and empower women and girls in sport and beyond, SheBelieves Cup is an annual soccer tournament that features four international women's teams, including host nation United States and three other countries. The tournament is a six-game, round-robin event with three doubleheaders scheduled over seven days -- usually between mid-February and mid-March.

In the inaugural edition of the SheBelieves Cup in 2016, the USA defeated England and France by 1-0 scores and downed Germany, 2-1, in the de facto championship game to take the first tournament title. Germany finished second, England was third and France fourth.

The 2022 SheBelieves Cup will be held from February 17-23 as the Czech Republic, Iceland and New Zealand join the USA for the four-team international tournament. The first two matchdays will be played at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, CA, with the final day of doubleheaders taking place at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, TX.
