Plot Synopsis

Using hidden cameras in some of the least private locations -- the mall, a bridal shop, a park, and more -- therapist Jill Dictrow, who has a master's in psychology with a specialty in sex and intimacy, goes undercover to help people who are too shy, too nervous, or too embarrassed to go to a friend, relative, or therapist to seek help for their relationships. In each half-hour episode of SEX IN PUBLIC, Jill puts herself in seemingly awkward situations, with the goal of helping complete strangers resolve their sexual, dating, and emotional issues. Each 30-minute episode features Jill in three or four different situations, including going undercover: as a bride-to-be in a bridal shop to help a woman come to terms with her troubled engagement; at an open house, where she gets a pair of roommates to open up about their sexual tension; at a food court, where she meets a group of friends and helps them navigate the best way to satisfy their sexual appetites and overcome hurdles in their relationships; on massage chairs at a mall, where she helps two friends who have feelings for each other -- but have been too coy to confess them; and many more scenarios, where she helps individuals and couples with relationships, dating and sex.
