Plot Synopsis

Created by Charlotte Sanson, THE 7 LIVES OF LEA follows Lea finds a young man's remains and then wakes up in the '90s, body swapping seven times as she tries to solve the mystery of his death -- and prevent it. Each episode occurs on a different day in a week in June 1991, with Lea waking up as a different person. The story opens with 17-year-old Lea finding a skeleton while wandering in the canyons, after which she wakes up in 1991 in the body of Ismael, a young man once close to her parents. While inhabiting a new body, Lea discovers secrets about her parents' past. Back in the present, Lea snoops inside Karine's email inbox. As the clock ticks, Lea wakes up in Pye's body and makes an attempt to prevent Ismael's death -- with surprising ramifications. All seven episodes of THE 7 LIVES OF LEA dropped on Thursday, April 28, 2022 on Netflix.
