Plot Synopsis

Set in the contemporary world of Jollywood, this animated series follows the re-imagined Seven Dwarfs (7D) -- Happy, Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Dopey, Grumpy and Doc -- as they work together to help the quirky Queen Delightful keep her kingdom in order. Standing in their way are Grim and Hildy Gloom, a novice warlock and witch couple, who haplessly plot to dethrone the Queen and take over Jollywood. Situated deep within the Enchanted Forest, the whimsical village of Jollywood is where the 7D live and tend to their jewel mine. When summoned by The Bing Bong Bell, a magical bell that descends from the sky when Queen Delightful wishes to call upon the 7D, the brave little heroes rush to their fair ruler's side. Whether it be saving the village from a terrorizing giant or uncovering the Queen's missing Magic Mirror, the 7D find a way to accomplish each task much to the chagrin of Lord Starchbottom, the Queen's loyal aide who would prefer to handle any and all crises on his own. Parry Gripp, the creative force behind viral videos, such as "Hamster On A Piano (Eating Popcorn)" and "Baby Monkey (Going Backwards On A Pig)," is the series' songwriter/composer and also performs the theme song.

Season 2 of THE 7D premiered on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 9:30am ET/PT on Disney XD. In the season opener, "When Pigs Fly; Knight School," the 7D must stop a group of flying pigs from eating all the food in Jollywood and Bashful enrolls in Knight School to win the Queen's attention back from a charming, dragon-fighting knight. Season 2 guest stars include: Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne playing the parents of Hildy, a character voiced by Kelly Osbourne; Fran Drescher as Encyclopedia Enchantica, a talking encyclopedia that provides the 7D with a wealth of knowledge; Amy Sedaris as Nocturna, the kooky keeper of nightmares; Jim Belushi as Coach Coachy, the world's greatest Jollyball coach; Jay Mohr as both King Groucherooney, Grumpy's cantankerous cousin, and Suave Seashell, a flashy game show host; George Takei as Dr. Sweet Tooth, Jollywood's cheery dentist; and "Weird Al" Yankovic as Shapeshifter, a villainous sorcerer who can morph into any shape of his choice.
