Plot Synopsis

Based on Sebastian Fitzek's 2006 novel of the same name, SEBASTIAN FITZEK'S THERAPY is a six-episode thriller that debuted on Thursday, October 26, 2023 on Prime Video. With no witnesses, no traces, and no corpse, Josy, the 13-year-old daughter of well-known Berlin psychiatrist Viktor Larenz, has disappeared in unexplained circumstances. Two years later, a mysterious woman appears. She forces Viktor to face up to his daughter's disappearance and pushes him to his psychological limits. The series opens with Viktor on a North Sea Island, where he is trying to escape from the anniversary of Josy's disappearance. he is found there by the mysterious Anna Spiegel, who seems to know more about Josy's fate. Viktor decides to confrant Anna, triggering a chain of unfortunate events that ends in tragedy.
