Plot Synopsis

Martin Hall hosts this weekly instruction series, and during each program he covers one new topic, including: how to select the proper grips and grip the club; how to drive the ball; how to fix a slice; how to chip; and many more skills. Hall recently won the network's national search to be host of this series, and he is still ranked No. 10 in Golf Digest's annual rankings of the game's top 50 teachers after being on the list every year since its inception. The half-hour program is filmed at the network's studios in Orlando.

SCHOOL OF GOLF returned for its fourth season on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 7pm ET/4pm PT on Golf Channel, as Martin Hall prepared viewers for the golf season and gave tips for playing in the wind. Beginning October 7, 2014, former BIG BREAK contestant and current Symetra Tour player Sara Brown joined Martin Hall, replacing Holly Sonders, who left Golf Channel for Fox Sports.

On Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 8pm ET/PT, SCHOOL OF GOLF returned for its fifth season. The Season 5 opener, "Chapter 1: Best Year Ever," highlights ways viewers can play their best golf in 2015.

Season 11 of SCHOOL OF GOLF debuted on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 7pm ET/4pm PT on Golf Channel. In the season opener, "Chapter 1: Solid Start," Martin Hall and Blair O'Neal are back on the range teaching how to get off to a solid start this golf season; ball striking tips used by greats; Hall reveals how two empty sleeves of golf balls can improve ball striking.
