Plot Synopsis

SAY YES TO THE DRESS reveals the inner workings of the world's premiere bridal salon, Kleinfeld Bridal. Each half-hour episode is part fashion show, part bridal story, and part family therapy, as the program uncovers the hurdles every staff member faces to make each bride completely satisfied on what may be the single most important day of her life. Watch as a team of specialists guides three brides through the process of selecting, fitting, altering and delivering each flawless dress in time for the perfect day. This series returned for its ninth season with back-to-back new episodes on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 9pm ET/PT, with the first program featuring a celebrity in the salon.

Season 10 of SAY YES TO THE DRESS premiered on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT on TLC with back-to-back new episodes, immediately following TLC's seven-hour, SYTTD marathon from 2-9pm. In the first new episode at 9pm, Kristin Chenoweth came to Kleinfelds with her bride-to-be assistant.

Immediately following a marathon (2-9pm) of encore episodes, SAY YES TO THE DRESS returned for its eleventh season on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT with back-to-back new episodes on TLC. In the Season 11 premiere, Seth Meyers surprised Shealynn, an injured army vet. Plus southern model Ashley wanted a sexy dress that also impressed her picky father, while Dana returned for a fitting before her wedding with her college sweetheart at their alma mater.

On Friday, October 10, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT, TLC aired the Season 12 premiere of SAY YES TO THE DRESS. In the season opener, Jillian Michaels pops in to surprise mentee and former BIGGEST LOSER contestant Tumi Oguntala, who after losing 175 pounds, is ready to get a fresh start on her new life as she prepares to walk down the aisle. Throughout the new season, these brides visit the salon: a New Orleans bride travels in search of a sexy mermaid cut gown; the reigning Miss USA, Erin Brady, who wants the perfect gown that screams bridal and not pageant queen; Meghan King, the fiancee of former MLB superstar Jim Edmonds; a number of brides looking for gowns for their destination nuptials; and many more brides to be. Season 12 also features guest appearances from: GOOD MORNING AMERICA's Ginger Zee; actress Sutton Foster; Rebekah Gregory, Boston bombing survivor; NFL stars Julius Jones and Thomas Jones; Laurel Harris, lead Broadway actress in "Wicked"; QVC presenter/host Courtney Casen; and NFL player Ricardo Silva.

On Friday, March 6, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, TLC premiered the thirteenth season of SYTTD, showing back-to-back new episodes. In the night's first new episode (10pm), "A Comedian Walks into a Bridal Salon...," not even the mannequins are safe when comedian Kathy Griffin conspires with Randy to give her former assistant the surprise of her life. THE BIGGEST LOSER's Tumi Oguntala returns for her dress fitting, but total dress disaster strikes on her wedding day! Then, in the second new episode (10:30pm), "Performance Piece," Tony Danza makes his debut at the salon to help his Broadway co-star, Brynn O'Malley, find the perfect bridal costume for her role in their new musical, Honeymoon in Vegas. Ballerina Valerie wants a wedding gown that is nothing like her princess dance costumes. Other friends and brides-to-be featured in Season 13 include: Melissa Sorrentino, the sister of Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino; Kevin Jonas' wife Danielle, who accompanies her friend Elizabeth Tamburelli; fashion host for "Huffington Post Live" Caitlyn Becker; LAW & ORDER: SVU regular Tamara Tunie with her engaged daughter; and acrobat and daredevil Nik Wallenda and wife Erendira.

The fourteenth season of SYTTD premiered on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 9-10:10pm ET/PT, immediately following an all-day marathon (6am-9pm) of encore episodes. Entering into its 14th season, SYTTD debuts with a new theme song written by platinum-selling country music star Kristian Bush of Sugarland. This season, Kristian visits Kleinfeld to help country girl Evyn find the perfect dress. Inspired and moved by his experience, he wrote the song "Forever Now." In the Season 14 opener (9pm), "What Does Martha Think?," Martha Stewart pops in to help out friend Bailey and her family have that perfect 'bridal moment.' Meanwhile, bride Jessica is so indecisive she may not find a gown, and Crystal wants impossible alterations. In the night's second new episode (9:35pm), "I've Stalked This Dress on Instagram," designer Hayley Paige makes three unique dresses for her big day, bride Elisabeth comes to Kleinfeld to buy her dream gown from Hayley Paige, and LaKesha, a big fan of designer Lazaro, gets a huge shock at the salon. Plus, Haley spills the details of her Lake Tahoe wedding -- from a blue painted "unicorn" and firework displays to the details of three different looks she is designing for the occasion. The rest of the season is filled with special guest appearances and unique brides, including Miss USA 2014 Nia Sanchez who is still searching for her perfect dress just two months before her wedding; double amputee, bronze Olympian and Dancing with the Stars runner-up Amy Purdy; and bride Jenna Pugh who brings along her younger brother Justin, offensive guard for the New York Giants. HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL star Corbin Bleu also visits Kleinfeld with his fiancee, who is on the search for a sexy yet sophisticated look for her wedding day. Brides continue to flock to Kleinfeld from all over the country in search of their dream dress. In a special episode this season, one war veteran receives the shock of a lifetime when Randy Fenoli surprises her with a VIP experience at Kleinfeld. After two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, the 9/11 bombing at the Pentagon, and severe PTSD amongst other injuries, the surprises keep coming for this incredible woman on her special day.

On Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 8-10pm ET/PT, TLC premiered Season 15 of SAY YES TO THE DRESS. In the season opener, "10 Years Later and Busier Than Ever!," Grammy-nominated singer Elle King comes in to find her perfect rocker-chic gown, while Randy and consultant Shay have a dress disagreement. And bride Lisa needs a gown for a wedding with dolphins. Other season highlights include notoriously outspoken reality star Omarosa searching for her perfect, but not white wedding dress; online sensation Claudia Oshry (aka Girl with No Job) bringung her comedic relief to the dress shopping process, but her search for a dress with sleeves is not an easy one for consultant, Lisa. This season is also full of surprises with brides requesting dresses to run marathons in, two-piece dresses for an ocean wedding, a dress for a Grand Canyon helicopter wedding and more. Between the seemingly impossible requests and new consultants at Kleinfeld, the team is still determined to help more brides than ever. Also this season, Randy heads out of the salon to surprise a Baton Rouge bride who lost her home and beloved wedding dress in a damaging flood. Moved to do something for the family, Randy heads to Louisiana to set up a Kleinfeld pop-up store at a local hotel to bring her the dress of her dreams. The emotional episode captures the essence of that special "Say Yes" moment. Viewers also get a peek into Randy's life outside of Kleinfeld when his mother visits New York to celebrate her 93rd birthday, and Randy's planned a surprise that she'll never forget.

Season 16 of SYTTD premiered on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 8pm ET/PT on TLC. Kleinfeld Bridal is busier than ever this season, and consultants - old and new - are in high demand helping brides Say Yes! One bride may give her mother a heart attack if she buys an all-black dress; another hopes to choose a gown that can be replicated for her beloved dog to wear on the bride's big day; plus, FLIPPING OUT's Jenni Pulos and SHARK TANK's Barbara Corcoran are just a couple of the celebrity guests-of-the-bride who are tagging along this season. After all of the dramatic and highly emotional shopping moments featured throughout the season, fans will be enchanted by some of the most breathtaking weddings yet. From ceremonies atop a glacier in Alaska and the Eiffel Tower in Paris, to newlyweds (and Randy!) experiencing the most extreme attraction at Coney Island. Also, this season, Randy Fenoli begins a thrilling new chapter when he gets back to his roots designing wedding gowns! However, the stakes are high: not only does he need the full support of Kleinfeld, but he also needs to impress even the pickiest of brides in hopes of re-establishing himself as a highly sought-after designer in this competitive industry.

On Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 8-10pm ET/PT, SAY YES TO THE DRESS returned for its seventeenth season. This season is full of surprises, ranging from a bride looking for a "dark fairy" dress, to a bride who is hopeful that she will walk down the aisle with her fiance after he was proclaimed paralyzed from an injury; and some of the celebrity brides include Prince's former bass player Nik West, singer and actress Sabrina Bryan and "bionic model" Rebekah Marine. In the two-hour season opener, "Hell Yes to the Dress," Randy and the consultants are immediately put to the test by two unique brides who require their undivided attention. The Kleinfeld team has their hands full with social media mogul Sydel Curry, the sister of star NBA player Stephen Curry, who arrives in tow with her mother Sonya, niece Riley and sister-in-law, celebrity chef and television personality Ayesha Curry. Not only do they need to find a gorgeous gown that Sydel loves, but they also need to get the final stamp of approval from someone a little harder to impress -- Sydel's mom.

TLC premiered Season 18 of SYTTD on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 9-11pm ET/PT. Just as Kleinfeld Bridal pulls back the curtain on a massive, modern redesign of its salon, Randy Fenoli, iconic bridal expert, encounters several daring brides-to-be who are searching for unique, modern wedding attire that bucks tradition. From black dresses to jumpsuits, Randy and the consultants are nearly pushed to their limit as they juggle tighter-than-usual deadlines and demanding entourages in order to make every bride's dream come true. In the season premiere, "This Is Showtime," Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy, the beloved duo from DANCING WITH THE STARS, put Kleinfeld to the test when they arrive just two months before their big day seeking the dress of highest importance to Jenna: her reception dress. Viewers will meet brides in various stages of their dress search: one bride has yet to find a dress after shopping at close to 100 stores in the US and overseas; another bride was devastated when she lost her home, including her wedding dress, in the recent California wildfires; and a different bride's dress went missing when the salon from where she purchased it went bankrupt. Also this season, fans get a first-hand look at weddings around the world -- from the cliffs of Ireland, to the hills of Tuscany. Plus, Randy is whisked away to Barcelona on his quest to debut his second bridal collection, and while there, he hopes to impress the bridal community at the ultimate Bridal Fashion Week. And in a special episode, Randy is deeply moved by an impromptu speech made during his niece's wedding, which also doubles as a Fenoli family reunion.

On Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 8-10pm ET/PT, SYTTD returned for its 19th season on TLC with a special quarantine episode (8pm) and then at 9pm, viewers are welcomed back inside Kleinfeld Bridal for all of the wedding drama -- both within bridal parties and among the Kleinfeld staff. Subsequent episodes premiere on Saturdays at 9pm ET/PT. The global pandemic effectively scuttled the traditional summer wedding season and postponed the dreams of countless brides across the US., but there's nothing like a challenge to help get the creativity flowing for Randy and the crew. From virtual appointments to dresses on lockdown to rescheduled weddings, this is unlike anything the team has seen before -- but they're up to the task of making even quarantine wedding dreams come true! Then it's back to business as usual with a brand-new season filled with celebrity and jaw-dropping bridal requests. THE BACHELOR fan-favorite Caila Quinn heads to Kleinfeld to find the gown she's always envisioned. With her family and friends by her side, they worry that Caila will try to please her social media followers while selecting a dress, rather than picking a gown she really loves. Later in the season, BIG BROTHER's very own Bayleigh Dayton is also shopping for a dress to begin her happily ever after with co-star Chris 'Swaggy C' Williams, whom she fell deeply in love with less than a month after meeting. A first-time ask leaves the consultants stunned, as one bride has her heart set on a 'naked dress,' wanting to leave her guests in shock and awe.

Season 20 of SYTTD premiered Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 8pm ET/PT on TLC. While Randy can't be in the salon full-time yet, he's working his magic from afar and ushering in a new virtual era in the Kleinfeld experience. This season, the brides arrive with a renewed energy and fresh set of challenges like a blind bride trying to find her perfect silhouette, a throuple with two brides sharing a budget, and a virtual bride having second thoughts on her pandemic purchase. But some familiar challenges like last minute shopping, over-the-top requests, outspoken entourages and one very picky former dance mom still test the team. And in a special episode, Randy's former on-set assistant gives us a peek behind the curtain as she searches for her own wedding dress. Plus, weddings take on a new meaning this season as families and friends gather to celebrate for the first time since the pandemic started. In the season opener, "We Don't Always Have a Say Yes," Kleinfeld might look a little different, but the brides are back! Kendall Vertes of DANCE MOMS tries to help sister Ryleigh find a dress and stand up to their mom, Jill. Randy's assistant, Daniela, gets an unexpected dose of brutal honesty from Randy.

On Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 8pm ET/PT, TLC premiered the 21st season of SAY YES TO THE DRESS. SYTTD celebrates 15 years of making brides' wedding dress dreams come true when the show returns this summer. Just when Randy and the Kleinfeld team think they've seen it all, Say Yes celebrates its crystal anniversary with brides unlike any they've experienced before -- including a bride-to-be who got engaged mere hours before her appointment, as well as a bride who uses her feet instead of her hands. No bridal appointment is complete without a lively entourage, and this season raises the bar on hyper-opinionated mothers, fashion-forward fathers and scene-stealing sisters. In the season opener, "You Went From Snickers Bar to Caviar," Kerry wants to look like a snack on her wedding day, but her outrageous entourage keeps stealing her spotlight; Gretchen needs a gown all four of her sisters will love; Alex is back for her fitting, but she's wondering if she made the right choice.

Season 22 of SYTTD premiered on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 8pm ET/PT on TLC. Throughout the seasons, bridal fashions have changed but Randy and the Kleinfeld consultants' superior service have remained constant. This season, Randy and his team navigate indecisive and panicked brides, opinionated family members and a woman who wants a wedding dress despite being single! When bride Victoria wants to show off her back, booty and biceps even though her grandma wants her to cover up, Randy works to find the perfect compromise. Client Amanda is back at Kleinfeld to find a second dress after her fiance told her he hates her first pick, and Red already bought a "just in case" dress at another salon, but she doesn't want to settle. Can she find a dress that's "just the one" at Kleinfeld? A mother of the bride has a laundry list of changes to make before she lets her daughter, Ryleigh, walk down the aisle. Plus, cast members both past and present join Randy for a special look back to celebrate their success and reminisce about the stand out moments they've witnessed over the years. In the season opener, "I'm Gonna Be the Problem Child Here," Bride Nina is pressed for time to find a reception dress she can bust a move in; couple Ashley and Amber need to find a jumpsuit for Amber and a gown for Ashley to use her legs comfortably since she was born without use of her arms.
