Plot Synopsis

After being Santa Claus for nearly 30 years, Scott Calvin is as jolly as ever. But as Christmas declines in popularity, so does his Santa magic. Scott struggles to keep up with the demands of the job, as well as being there for his family. Upon discovering there is a way to retire from his post, Scott considers stepping down as Santa Claus and finding a worthy successor so that he can become a better father and husband. Based on THE SANTA CLAUSE movie trilogy, THE SANTA CLAUSES premiered on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, as Disney+ released the first two episodes. A new installment dropped each Wednesday through December 14.

The six-episode sophomore season of THE SANTA CLAUSES premiered with two new episodes on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 on Disney+. A new installment drops weekly through December 6. Scott Calvin, after 28 years, reigns true as Santa Claus, leader of the North Pole and Christmas. With his family -- Carol, Sandra, and Cal -- by his side, and his elves at the reins, Scott contends with a changing world to keep the spirit of Christmas alive for a new generation.
