Plot Synopsis

Rusty Croft, Kirk Rademaker and the rest of their team -- Sue McGrew, Matt Long, Andy Gertler and Morgan Rudloff -- travel across the globe so they can create massive masterpieces made from sand for special events as they battle unpredictable weather, ambitious designs and demanding clients. In Miami, the team celebrates PT Barnum's 200th birthday with a 60-ton masterpiece featuring acrobats, elephants, motorcycles and an explosive surprise element. Next, in Costa Rica, they create a one-of-a-kind, coffee-themed sand sculpture to celebrate the international launch of a local coffee company. Traveling to Aspen, the team must deal with frozen sand as they build an outrageous sand sculpture for the centerpiece of a skiing and snowboarding competition. Then, LEGOLAND in Southern California is celebrating its newest Star Wars-themed attraction, and the sand guys create a sculpture that includes a sand version of the iconic Millennium Falcon, Darth Vader, Yoda and Luke Skywalker.
