Plot Synopsis

Based on Alexis Schaitkin's 2020 book of the same name, SAINT X is an eight-episode psychological thriller. The series, which is told via multiple timelines, explores and upends the girl-gone-missing genre as it explores how Alison Thomas' mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister, Emily, into a dangerous pursuit of the truth. The series opens with the Thomas family arriving at a resort on the Caribbean island of Saint X for what seems like an idyllic family trip. Meanwhile, in present day Brooklyn, Emily has a surprise encounter with someone from her past. The series then reveals what happened the night of Alison's disappearance, while Emily starts to dig deeper into her past. The first three episodes of SAINT X dropped on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 on Hulu, with a new installment debuting each Wednesday through May 31.
