Plot Synopsis

Created and executive produced by series star Darren Criss, ROYALTIES is a short-form musical comedy series that follows songwriters Pierce and Sara, as they navigate the strange and hilarious challenges of creating great songs for insane artists. Each episode features the songwriting duo creating music for a different fictitious singer, portrayed by a guest star. On Monday, June 1, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Quibi released the first three episodes:

"Just That Good": Sara and Pierce have their first big break, trying to write a love song for Jacob Jewel (guest star Rufus Wainwright).

"Break It In": Sara and Pierce try to hire a new manager, but first they have to fire their old one. Lil Rel Howry guest stars as Dwayne D.

"Kick Your Shoes Off": Sara and Pierce must write for pop star Kimmy Kelly (guest star Bonnie McKee) while trying to satisfy her team.
