Featuring archival footage and in-depth celebrity interviews, THE ROMANTICS is a four-part documentary series that celebrates the life and legacy of Bollywood filmmaking titan Yash Chopra. Through Yash Chopra's rise as a filmmaker, his introduction of the Angry Young Man, and classic romantic heroes mark a shift in existing Bollywood tropes. Written and directed by Smriti Mundhra, THE ROMANTICS debuted on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 on Netflix, as the streaming service released all four episodes.
