Plot Synopsis

In this half-hour comedy series, Stephane Ble, a youth center leader from the suburbs of Paris, becomes a candidate in the presidential election. But is France truly ready for a Black president? The series opens with Stephane having a verbal joust with presidential hopeful Eric Andrei that goes viral, forcing him into the limelight -- and reluctantly running for office. As Eric covertly tries to sabotage his campaign, Stephane and his newly-formed team dodge old scandals and collect signatures to seal his candidacy. The entire six-episode first season of REPRESENT dropped on Friday, January 20, 2023, on Netflix.

Season 2 of REPRESENT debuted on Thursday, August 29, 2024 on Netflix, which released all six episodes of the new season. Stephane Ble's presidency is off to a rocky start as he faces death threats, protests, international gaffes, and some troublesome domestic affairs. With no agenda, no party, no wife and a series of escalating threats, the new season opens with Stephane and the team preparing for his upcoming inauguration at the Elysee Palace. Then, as Stephane and Mo secretly handle a diplomatic incident, a royal visit is announced. Lamine inspires housing reform ahead of a celebratory garden party.
