Plot Synopsis

Produced by Scott Brothers Entertainment (co-founded by Jonathan and Drew Scott), each 30-minute episode of RENO, SET, GO! features a family and a team of expert craftsmen led by designer Cheryl Torrenueva and contractor Roger Morin perform a top-secret renovation for an unsuspecting homeowner while they are purposely kept out of the house. Nominated by their spouse or family member, each unknowing party thinks it's just another normal day, but little do they know that they are about to receive an incredible makeover in one major area of their house from a special team of designers, contractors and numerous accomplices paving the way. From start to finish it's a family affair and all hands are on deck as everyone works together to plan the design and execute a custom room renovation in under 36 hours. All the unsuspecting homeowners featured in the series are in desperate need of a home refresh and have overcome challenging situations while remaining positive and inspiring others with their enthusiastic outlook on life. Discovery Family premieres RENO, SET, GO! on Monday, July 19, 2017 from 10-11pm ET/PT, showing back-to-back new episodes. In the series opener (10pm), "All Work and No Play," Helen wants to surprise Richard with a complete remodel of the basement thanking him for being such a great dad, and alleviating any of the stress and guilt he may feel about not getting it done sooner. Then, in the night's second new episode (10:30pm), "The Houseguest," Chef Murray works long hard hours, but when his 25-year-old brother in law Tristram came looking for a place to crash, Murray & Tamara welcomed him. Along with Tamara's help, Tristram wants to show Murray his appreciation by remodeling the master bedroom.
