Plot Synopsis

The deputies of the Reno Sheriff's Department are still in the line of duty -- and they're ready to do what it takes to keep the city safe? This RENO 911! reboot is a short-form series that opens with the department responding to a hostage situation, where they encounter volunteer officers. Then, Officers Johnson and Wiegel participate in a local event; meanwhile, the department responds to a disgruntled group of pedestrians. On Monday, May 4, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Quibi released three 6-minute episodes of RENO 911!. A new episode is released each subsequent weekday through Friday, May 15.

After a 3-month break, RENO 911! returned with new episodes on Monday, August 24, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Quibi released three additional episodes:

"Dingle Goes Live": Dingle makes a statement on live television; meanwhile, the officers celebrate Officer Kimball's birthday and record a PSA on the second amendment.

"Escape-O-Rama Room": Lt. Dangle responds to a missing person report with Officers Junior and Weigel. The department warns the public about marijuana consumption.

"High Plains Stoner": Officer Weigel records a helpful tutorial. The officers respond to a dangerous structure fire where they meet up with the Reno Fire Department.

On Monday, September 7, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Quibi released "Sofia the Drug Lord," the Season 1 finale of RENO 911. Multiple officers have a run-in with a powerful drug lord. The department receives surprising results from a recent urine test.

On Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 10:30pm ET/PT, this version of RENO 911! made its linear television debut on Comedy Central, which combined multiple short-form episodes into half-hour installments.
