Plot Synopsis

RED BULL PEAKING is a half-hour docuseries that takes an intimate look at athletes -- as told in their own words and experienced from their perspective -- during the 72-hour period immediately before, during and after a landmark event in their career. The series opener features supercross star James Stewart, who, after a 16 month ban from competition, makes his comeback at the unique Red Bull Straight Rhythm event sees him reflect on his career and his life as the first African American to win a major auto-racing title. This series features other extreme athletes, such as: Jenny Rissveds, who competes in the elite women's UCI Cross Country circuit; veteran surfer and Maverick's local Peter Mel; Canadian pro snowboarder Mark McMorris; mountain biker Nicholi Rogatkin; veteran Dutch extreme beach racer Marc de Reuver; Kiwi free ride mountain biking icon Kelly McGarry; and mountain biker Carson Storch.

On Friday, October 4, 2019 from 9-10pm ET/PT, The CW premiered the season finale of RED BULL PEAKING, debuting back-to-back new episodes:

"Kelly McGarry" (9pm): Free ride mountain biking icon Kelly McGarry grapples with the consequences of his sport during what turns out to be his final competitive event before his tragic death from heart failure less than six months later.

"Carson Storch" (9:30pm): Mountain biker Carson Storch shows what it takes to build a line and compete on free ride's biggest stage at Red Bull Rampage.
