Plot Synopsis

REALITY RIDES is a 30-minute reality series that follows Carl Meredith and his crew at Carl's Custom Cars in Red Oak, Texas, just South of Dallas, as they transform antique, rusting cars back to their original and classic state of beauty. In the first season Carl's crew restores a 1955 Buick Special that they find at an abandoned old car dealership, and must hunt for parts in junkyards, old garages, and anywhere else they might discover original parts from this unique car. During 12 episodes in Season 1, the crew encounters problems and pitfalls throughout the restoration process, as they get the car ready to compete at the Buick Nationals in the season finale.

On Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 10am ET/PT, REALITY RIDES returned for its second season in a new timeslot. Season 2 featured two cars: a 1942 Dodge Command and a 1940 Lincoln Zephyr.
