Plot Synopsis

Legendary prosecutor Linda Fairstein brings the real stories of the Manhattan Special Victims Unit to television in THE REAL SVU. As the head of the Special Victims Unit for over three decades, and the inspiration for the long-running LAW & ORER series, Fairstein has led the fight in and out of the courtroom to get justice for women and all victims of sexual violence. THE REAL SVU gives an inside look at how this famous unit's real cases were investigated and prosecuted. On Monday, May 21, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT, Lifetime premiered "Murder at Soho House," a special episode of THE REAL SVU, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. The special investigates the case of a successful swimsuit designer found dead at an exclusive Manhattan hotel, with all signs pointing to her trust-fund boyfriend as the perpetrator. But when the SVU team delves further into the case, they're shocked at what they uncover about the suspect's dark family history.
