Plot Synopsis

RATTLESNAKE REPBULIC follows the lives and adventures of four teams of brave rattlesnake wranglers, as they battle to make their living by tracking, catching and selling Western Diamondbacks in Texas. Whether a rancher has an infestation that has been killing his cattle or a contractor can't get onto his jobsite, these men come armed with a pair of boots and guts of steel as they grab, chase and capture these snakes -- sometimes by the dozen. Season 1 features the following four teams: Robert and Shawn; Jackie Bibby; Riley Sawyers; and Eric and Rick Timaeus. Animal Planet first aired RATTLESNAKE REPUBLIC as a 60-minute special on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 10pm ET/PT.

RATTLESNAKE REPBULIC returned for its third season on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT, as Animal Planet aired back-to-back new episodes. In the Season 3 premiere, "Rattle Royale," Snake Kingpin and CEO Leroy Higginbottom has his employees out on their first assignment during the first day of operations at Rattler Unlimited, and he's offered a $1,000 bonus if the boys can complete the task. Then, in the night's second episode, "The Love Snake," Leroy and Nici locate a copperhead snake for a valued client as Dougie and Jackie track down a prized commodity: Jackie's World Champion Snake Sacking Trophy. Meanwhile, Mike is forced outside of his comfort zone as a speech therapist puts him through diction camp.
