Plot Synopsis

RAISING HOUSE follows homeowners, architects and contractors as they work together to build a new home or rebuild an existing one. Each 30-minute episode focuses on a single home, showing the entire process -- from the time the foundation is poured through the mid-construction design changes and to the finished product, showing the homeowner's heartache, heartbreak and satisfaction. DIY aired back-to-back sneak-peek episodes on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 9pm ET, almost seven months before the official series premiere on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 9pm ET.

Season 2 premiered Friday, October 3, 2014 at 11pm ET/PT on DIY Network. In the season opener, Neil and Robin Ducharme live on the Jersey Shore with twins Ava and Lily, where Neil purchased an existing lot right next door to their current home to build the new house. He will battle Hurricane Sandy and his wife's design indecisions in order to get his family the seaside home they've always wanted.
